The Set: Pete Deksnis's Site about the CT-100

Restoring a Vintage Color Television Set

A full-color form for dealers who ordered the CT-100? It had to be the 1954 equivalent of a feel-good meeting today. I don't mean to be supercilious: just practical. If you look closely, the space for specifying the number of sets ordered is blank!

Don Ray TV remained in business at the same location until 1997.

"So that our store may participate in the beginning of a great new service to the public...
the RCA compatible color television system... please enter my order for immediate
shipment of _____ Model CT100 [sic] RCA Victor Color Television Receiver(s)."

Thanks again to Steve D. for sharing yet another
absorbing fragment of color television history.
