We have recently acquired this set It has a 9 inch direct view picture tube. General Electric introduced 5 models in 1939. The others were the HM-171 (5 inch vision only), HM-185 (5 inch console), HM-226 (12 inch direct view lid console) and HM-275 (12 inch mirror in lid console).
