This set was supposedly made for a friend of David Sarnoff. Here is a description from Jack Davis, a prominent early TV collector:

The left hand compartment housed a record changer. A modified 630 with a 21 inch picture tube is in the center compartment and the right hand unit has a relay setup for remote control of the entire setup plus an AM/FM radio.

The 21 inch picture tube dates the set to about 1952 or later.
