Early Electronic Television

Television Training Schools

Before World War Two there were a number of radio training schools, both resident and correspondent. In the 30s, many of these schools added television to their curriculum:

National Radio Institute (Washington DC)
National Schools (Los Angeles)
Re-Nu Radio and Television College (Australia)

After the war, many schools started television training:

American Telecasting Corporation (Los Angeles)
Capitol Radio Engineering Institute (Washington DC)
Coyne Electrical School (Chicago)
New York Technical Institute (New York)
