It was common practice to shunt blown
pigtail-lead fuses with a standard fuse
using a pair of S-clamps as shown here.

Early Television

Graphic is of the actual (and still good) fuse assembly
installed on my CTC-2 over forty years ago by a servicer
whose identity will forever pose a conundrum,
but as happenstance has decreed,
whose miniscule stir of reality is still observed...
