Early Electronic Television Early Electronic VHF Boosters
4 channel booster, probably prewar. Removed from our Westinghouse WRT-703. It uses a 6AC7. In order to get power, the octal plug is inserted in the socket of a 6AC7 in the set, and the tube is plugged back into the top of the plug assembly. Courtesy of Ed Dessau RF booster, removed from our GE HM-185. There is most likely a tube inside. It was probably made after the war, based on the 300 ohm twinlead, which wasn't available prewar. |
