Early Television Museum

Guidelines for Swap Meet Auction

General:

  • All items are sold as is/where is
  • The number on your name tag is your Bidder Number
  • Bid conflicts will be judged by the ETF auction staff based on the rules.
  • Payment can be made for purchases any time after the close of the Live Auction through Sunday afternoon by cash,check, credit card or Paypal.
  • We are unable to arrange shipping, but will cooperate with a shipper you select for item pickup. Some items cannot be shipped

Live Auction:

  • The number on your name tag is your bidder number
  • The auctioneer will determine starting bid
  • Some Live Auction items will have reserves
  • We will hold up items for viewing if possible

Proxy Bidding:

  • If you submitted a bid online, a proxy bidder will be assigned to bid for you at the Live Auction
  • The proxy bidder will bid for you, up to the maximum amount you indicated.
  • If you are the high bidder, payment must be made by the 5 PM Saturday October 17. If payment is not received by this time, the next highest bidder will be the winner.
