20 records are stored on sliding metal trays at on the left. The pushbuttons on the front of the Videograph select a record. A solenoid moves the tray to the right.

The turntable, which has been at the bottom of the unit, moves up and captures the record, carrying it to the top of the assembly, where it mates with the tonearm.
