Early Television Museum

2026 Early Television Convention will be held May 1-3 at the Early Television Museum in Hilliard.

  • Admission is $30 for members, $40 for non-members
  • The Live Auction  and Consignment Sale will be at the museum - we will have comfortable chairs
  • This year, in place of the silent auction, we will have a Consignment Sale. Bring your extra items to sell.   
  • Presentations will be at the Hillard Cultural Arts Center 
  • Food trucks will be at the museum for the Friday evening event and for Saturday lunch
  • No additional charge for vendors at the swapmeet
  • Saturday dinner will be at The Old Bag of Nails Pub (individual payment)
  • Discounts at local Hilliard busineses
  •  Discounts at local hotels
  • Here is information on past conventions.

Friday, May 1

 
8 am - 6 pm Enter items for the Auction, register for the Convention.
 2 - 4 pm Restoration Workshop - The RCA RR-359 prototype - Bob Andersen
5 - 8 pm Food available from food trucks
6 pm – 9 pm Meet other collectors at the museum. Demonstration of sets in the Museum's collection. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks, or at the Center Street Market food court a block from the Museum. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the museum. Coffee and pastries will be provided courtesy of Coffee Connections and Destination Hilliard.

Saturday, May 2

7 am – 8 am Swap Meet setup
8 am – 10 am Swap Meet. Register for the Convention.
8 am - 11 am Enter items for the Consignment Sale and Auction. Deadline is 11 am.
10:30 am - 1:30 pm Food available from food trucks
12 noon Consignment Sale begins
12 noon - 2 pm Live Auction
2 pm - 4 pm

9 am – 5 pm Browse the museum’s collection, talk to fellow collectors. Demonstration of sets in the Museum’s collection.
