Air Force Human Resources Laboratory CRT

The world's largest television October 1973 (TV) tube at its time, a 226-pound, 36-inch cathode ray tube (CRT), intended to be used to train Air Force pilots. Developed by the Air Force Human Resources Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the CRT was to be used in the advanced flight simulator. The tests were underway at Williams AFB, Arizona.
