General Electric GM-297
This cabinet contained a 1938-39 model HM-297. It is unusual since the mirror is located behind the sliding doors and not in the lid. Documentation from GE indicates that the 297 was displayed at the 1939 World's Fair. However. a photo of the GE display shows a standard mirror in lid set like the GM-295. Everything has been stripped from this cabinet.
