|Screen Size||5 inch|
|Number Still in Existence||See Pre-1945 Database|
This set was introduced in 1939. It has a 5 inch screen, but to get the audio, it had to be connected to a separate radio. Many radios made in 1939-41 included a connection on the back for television. General Electric ran a full page ad in magazines just before the 1939 Worlds Fair. Here is a 1939 sales brochure and technical information.
