Hitachi Color TV Unit 1

Hitachi color TV one Unit Type 21 (CT150) was developed in 1960 for the start of color television broadcasting in Japan. It was Hitachi's first color set, and had 30 tubes, consumend 400 watts, and weighed 106 Kg. It cost 520,000 Yen. At that time 10 Kg of rice cost 870 Yen, and the annual salary of a typical civil servant was 12,900 Yen.
