Stanley Jay and His Wife at the 1939 World's Fair

 

From Mr. Jay's notes:

This picture taken Sept. 17, 1940, shows television at the New York World's Fair, televising Mrs. Stanley P. Jay in an outdoor studio assisted with four powerful spotlights, sun reflectors, etc. You can see a microphone for sound and a television camera for video.

 

This shows the same general view as number one, but shows men arranging scenery before the television shot was being taken.
