RCA reduced prices on its television line in Newburgh, in a test to see
what effect that would have on sales. The TRK-12 was reduced from $600
to $395, the TRK-9 from $450 to $295, and similar reductions were made
in the price of the TT-5 and TRK-5. Here is a November 28, 1939 article
