Technical information

This is the first truly portable TV set, powered by a small battery, and made using transistors. Our set was donated by Bill and Myrtie Simmons and David and Rosemary League of Eagle Rock, Virginia. The Safari was the first of many micro television sets, many of which are shown at this website.
