KFSG was the radio station of famous Los Angeles radio evangelist Amiee Semple McPherson, KFSG stood for The "Four Square Gospel" Church. Since all experimental television stations had X in their call signs (W6XAO, for instance), it is likely that W6KQ was an amateur shortwave station. All of these articles appeared in McPherson's newspaper, the Four Square Crusader.
