This set was made by the Hollis Baird Company of Boston, Massachusetts. It was available in kit form (model 25) or fully assembled (model 35).
Hollis Baird was not related to John Logie Baird. This is the radio receiver portion for television reception. To get a picture, this receiver would be connected to a viewing unit like the model 26.
