RCA "TV Eye" Vidicon Camera

 

This camera was made in the early 1950s. It uses a 6198 Vidicon camera tube, which was considerably smaller and cheaper than the Image Orthicon. The camera was designed for home use, and has connections on the control unit for an antenna and for RF connection to the TV set. Click for service manual.
