Television Pioneers

We often hear the question "who invented television". The answer is that no one person did. Television was developed by a number of pioneers, each of whom added an element that eventually resulted in television. Here are some of those people:

E. W. Alexanderson Charles Jenkins
John Logie Baird Stan Lebar
Manfred von Ardenne Harry Lubcke
Rene Barthelemy U. A. Sanabria
Allen B. DuMont David Sarnoff
Philo Farnsworth Vladimir Zworykin
Peter Goldmark
